CODE OF CONDUCT
We are committed to be in full compliance with the law of the countries that we operate in and with all other applicable laws, rules and regulations. We strive to reach the highest compliance standards including laws relating to employment, discrimination, the environment, safety of apparel and related fields.
- No Discrimination
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. believes that employment should be based on ability and not on belief or any other personal characteristics. No person shall be subject to any discrimination in employment, including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination of retirement, on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, or social or ethnic origin.
- Forced Labor, Human Trafficking and Slavery
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall not use any form of forced labor, whether in the form of prison labor from penitentiary, bonded labor or others non voluntary labor. Also, Factory shall not implement Human Trafficking or as an employee as Slavery.
- Child Labor
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall not hire a employee at an age younger than legal working age for any reason. Moreover, the factory maintains official documentation for every worker that verifies the worker’s date of birth.
- Harassment or Abuse
Every employee shall be treated with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subject to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.
- Health and Safety
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. will provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out, linked with or occurring in the course of work as a result of the operation of company facilities.
- Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall recognize and respect the right of employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
- Wages and Benefits
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. recognizes that wages are essential to meeting employees’ basic needs. We shall pay employees at least the minimum wage required by local law and shall provide legally mandated benefits.
- Hours of Work
Working hours is shall follow the labor regulation. Workers shall have at least one day off in every seven. Moreover, if employees refuse to work more than labor regulation limit, company will ensure that employees will not be punished or terminated for refusing to work more than the labor regulation limit.
- Overtime Compensation
In addition to their compensation for regular hours or work, they shall be compensated for overtime hours at such premium rate as is legally required in the country of manufacture.
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Prohibition of Bribery
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall not exist the conflicts of interest or obtain the improper material benefits directly or indirectly.
- Grievance Mechanism
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. shall operate the grievance mechanism on a transparency of process and outcomes, while allowing for dialogue to remain confidential and, where requested, for complainant confidentiality.
- Corrective Action
Tainan Enterprises Co., Ltd. will always perform corrective action immediately if there is found any issue not compliance with commitment or valid laws, rules and regulations.
